Joey was very professional in helping me find my apartment. He was honest which I really appreciated. We find a great spot in Edgewater which I would not have looked at before he mentioned it. I would definitely use his expertise in the future!

Joey helped me to buy a condo in Sheridan. This has been the first purchase we've done together but definitely not the last one. He is very responsive and always takes care of the entire process from researching properties to closing. His outstanding knowledge of construction definitely helped to analyse the status of the property and the scope of work to be done in the rehab. 10/10

Joey was great to work with. We were first-time homebuyers and he was happy to answer all of our questions (of which there were many). He has a background as a contractor which was very useful when we had questions about what it would cost to change or update part of a space as we were shopping for condos. Finally the team around Joey and his referral network was excellent. We were very pleased with the quality of the referrals Joey passed along and ended up going with his recommended Attorney and Lender among others. Highly recommend Joey especially to first-time homebuyers in Chicago.

Finding Joey was a happy accident; we met him while touring his own development. We asked him to help us in our home search because: 1. He clearly had excellent taste. (Although not the right fit for us, his project was a beaut.) 2. He had development experience, which we thought would be very helpful as we looked at new constructions. (And it was!) 3. He was straightforward when touring his property, and we didn't feel like he was trying to sell us a home that wasn't right for us, which carried over as we continued working with him. We were first-time home buyers, and Joey walked us through each step of the process. He reassured us when we were feeling overwhelmed or unsure. Joey changed a stressful time into a pleasant experience. He was always available and prepared. There was not a question he did not know or wouldn't find that answer to. When it came to the negotiation, he kept our needs in mind and achieved exactly what we were looking for. To top it off, we were buying a new construction home and his knowledge in this sector was incredible which eliminated all anxiety. Joey was very patient with us as we waffled back and forth on what we wanted for quite a while, until we ultimate found the right home for us, and he moved quickly to help get us a lower price than we would have even offered on our own. He has background in contracting, which came in handy when touring listings, as he could quickly ballpark costs for potential changes we were interested in making.

As a first-time home buyer, it was great to work with Joey. He went out of his way to explain the home-buying process to me and did all he could to make the endeavor as smooth as possible, including recommending a lender, inspector and attorney. We worked on finding a place for about one year and during that time he helped make an overwhelming process manageable.

Joey was a fantastic realtor, and helped us to buy a great house! We had very specific criteria for the house that we wanted (location, year built, first floor bedroom/bathroom, etc.), and Joey always found houses to show us that matched our criteria. He spent months showing us houses, including on weekends. He was very patient as we rejected house after house. We finally negotiated a deal on a house, went through inspection on the house, and everything looked like it was good to go. But then, less than a day and a half before the closing, the sellers informed us that they had a problem on their end, and so would not close. Joey calmly helped us navigate this situation with our attorney, even though the deal did not ultimately go through. Subsequently, we reopened our house search with Joey, and he again graciously and patiently spent many hours, again including weekends, finding and showing us houses that met our very specific criteria. In the end, he helped us find a great house, and we’ve had a great first few weeks living here! Joey was also very knowledgeable, and very responsive to all of our questions. I highly recommend him!

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Joey. I was a first time buyer and Joey and his team were very responsive and accommodating. They scheduled all the properties I wanted to see and sent me all information prior to the visits. He guided me throughout the process and provided abundant information about buying a home for your first time and what to expect which was extremely helpful. I worked with Joey in purchasing my first house and he was easy to work with and was available at all times of the day to answer my questions. Joey and his team were excellent! Joey helped me buy my first condo in Chicago. I had never purchased a home but Joey and his team made it very easy for me. He lined up everyone that I never knew I needed for buying a place. He created a very supportive team for my buying and selling needs. Even after the purchase Joey was there to help whenever I had any questions or needs with the Condo. Then when it came time to sell a few years later due to relocation. Joey was there every step of the way. He made sure my condo was in prime selling condition and sold close to a week from putting it on the market. Joey delivers an excellent product and is very helpful in anything you could need in the buying or selling process. Even after you purchase the home he is very supportive of his clients, present and past.

He gave very pointed advice on the cost of renovations and even set up contractor introductions with the people he uses. Working with Joey was fantastic! When I reached out the week before Christmas that I was interested in buying, but that it could only happen if we made a tight (and frankly not particularly realistic) timeframe work, he didn’t hesitate. He spent time explaining the process and answering my questions, and then immediately scheduled showings for that weekend. I realize this is not the norm in this market, but we had an offer accepted on my top choice before Christmas.
