‘Montero Plays Mozart’ in Skokie 

Famed pianist Gabriela Montero is coming to Skokie to perform the music of Mozart. Accompanied by the Music of the Baroque Orchestra and conducted by Dame Jane Glover, this classical music performance is sure to amaze. Her work has won a Grammy and she has been profiled on 60 Minutes, so don’t miss your chance to see her live!

Catch a Show at Northlight

Andy Warhol in Iran opens this weekend at the Northlight Theatre in Skokie. This play features only two actors as they dramatize Andy Warhol’s experience visiting Iran in the 1970s. Northlight is one of the largest non-profit theaters in the Chicago area, and they are known for their incredible work. Buy your ticket to the show or check out their website for one of the supplementary events during the run of the play.

Learn About the Yukon in Glenview

Celebrate naturalist Robert Kennicott who visited the Yukon twice in the mid-1800s. Robert grew up in The Grove, and the Glenview Park District is hosting a day of learning about the Yukon to celebrate this local explorer.
