This is my first review on Yelp and I'm literally signing up just so I can share how wonderful it has been apartment-hunting with Tal Haimovitch.  My boyfriend and I were looking for an apartment in and around downtown Chicago for quite some time.  We worked with a couple different companies, but the service we received from Tal was, honestly, spectacular.  My boyfriend and I had a quite a specific idea of the type of place we wanted, what it should include, and where we would like it to be located and Tal went above and beyond in helping us find the perfect place!  Always professional, helpful, and knowledgeable, Tal has been great, my boyfriend and I are moving into our new place this weekend!  Another thing I very much appreciated - Tal is always prompt in responding to emails/texts/calls.. and if you like a unit/building, Tal does his very best to get you a showing there the next day (which I appreciate a lot, because the rental market is currently very hot and quality available apartments go soo quickly!)  Overall, I am extremely grateful to Tal for all his constant hard work and help in finding my boyfriend and I a new home - we love it! Tal is an absolute pleasure to work with and goes above and beyond for all his clients - what more could you ask for?! :)Anam B.

While living in PA, it was a nightmare trying to find a place in Chicago. The distance made it very difficult to get anything done. I worked long-distance with Tal Haimovitch though and he did everything he could to make the experience easier. He found me a beautiful 3BA apartment. His communication was great, always keeping me updated and working to find the best possible fit for me. It was comforting knowing I had somebody there on my side, who could be honest with me. The follow-up guy for getting my keys was the most unhelpful and hard to work with person I have ever met, so I almost gave them 4 stars, but Tal was that good.J C.

My boyfriend and I recently went on the hunt for an apartment in Chicago. I contacted Tal Haimovitch first by responding to an apartment listing on Craigslist. From there, he offered to send me daily listings of new properties available that met our criteria for what we were looking for. When I wanted to view a property, Tal was prompt, professional, and always pleasant and courteous to work with. He is also very knowledgeable and transparent about the market and pricing, and he offered us great advice for how to navigate the application and bidding process. At the same time, he's not pushy and he never put pressure on us to decide or to move quickly on a property; our search was our search. Tal was also able to make the calls needed to get the job done and to get us in to see a handful of properties in just a day's notice. When another real estate agent told me that she could not get me in to see an apartment at 1pm on a Saturday, I reached out to Tal to see if he would show us the listing instead. I did this on a Friday morning and by the end of the day Tal had our 1pm showing booked for the next day! We ended up bidding on that apartment thanks to Tal and his hard work! The Chicago rental market has gotten increasingly more competitive over the past few years. At first, I doubted that I'd even want to work with an agent. I am so glad, however, that I found Tal Haimovitch. I started my search about a month earlier than most would because I travel constantly for work and had minimal time to visit properties. Tal was patient, thorough and really took the time to listen to what I was looking for. I never once felt pressured or coerced into anything I wasn't comfortable with in terms of price, location, etc. We dealt with several extremely challenging lessors and agents along the way too and Tal never once broke a sweat. He always assured me that we would find what I was looking for in my time frame-- and we did exactly that. My wife and I want to thank our realtor Tal Haimovitch so much for all of his help during our apartment hunting experience. We first met Tal when we found a listing. When we arrived and he showed us around the place, it was clear that it wasn't quite what we were looking for. Doing what most real estate agents do, Tal asked us our preferences and told us that he'd be happy to look up current listing that did actually match our preferences. We had probably met 8-10 agents who had told us stuff like that before, but Tal was the first one to ever follow up with quality, thoughtful listings. The next morning, I had an email with 15 listings that all matched our preferences, an hour later we had appointments at the 5 best ones for that weekend. As Tal drove us around and showed us these 5 locations, he got an incredibly good handle on what exactly we were looking for, gave us priceless advice on the tricks of the trade, and followed up quickly with the one we liked (we unfortunately missed out on the one we really wanted because someone else had submitted the application the day earlier). Even with the bad break, Tal kept his eye out for properties for the next week, keeping our conversations and preferences in mind. And as luck would have it, he sent an email on a Thursday afternoon with a brand new listing that was everything we had been looking for. He acted quickly and we were able to be one of the first people to view the place. We jumped on it on the spot. Knowing we didn't want to risk it, Tal drove us to our apartment so that we could write out our application and get the checks in order to secure our spot, and then drove to the realtor's office that night and dropped everything off (all this even though he had some prior plans that evening that we were potentially making him late for). He then followed up frequently to let us know our status and letting us know where we stood. Throughout the whole process, Tal was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to respond (email, phone & text). We're not in the market to buy a house quite yet, but we certainly know that when that time comes, we'll be using Tal and recommending him to any friends. Thanks!John V.

There's always a hidden dread in me when it comes to dealing with brokers as a result of previous experiences on different occasions. The problem is, you can't live without them. Armed with the experience and knowledge, I decided to check for one in Yelp online and picked the one I felt had the best reviews. I made an appointment for the following day and was surprised at Tal's receptive nature and the fact that he was willing to get me what I wanted which included sticking to my budget and being flexible on location. I was impressed at the professional approach that he and his team used in the whole process and within a day, I was spoiled for choice. The documentation was also clear and there were no hidden surprises or costs. The next time I need to move to a different location, Tal will be my first choice-again.Esmeralda V.

My review for this company is based off/and strictly for Tal Haimovitch-leasing agent. I have not had much encounter with the company as a whole yet. I had run down to the last few days before my lease ended and I had to find a place fast. I located a rental on Hot Pads and quickly called the agent Tal. He responded back to me within minutes and was very professional and empathetic with my situation. He was able to show me the apartment within a couple of hours! Tal went out of his way to help me get the rental and was super positive and friendly! I was always updated with what was happening, the next steps, and responded to quickly. Excellent customer service! This company should be very happy to have a professional such as Tal working for them.
