Steven Koleno is a nationally-recognized real estate expert with a wealth of experience spanning real estate investment, corporate leadership, and traditional brokerage. Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Steven’s career is distinguished by his unparalleled achievements and dedication to excellence. With a Master’s Degree in Management from National-Louis University, Steven began his professional career as an Integration Engineer for a major healthcare company. His path shifted 12 years later when he began investing in real estate, purchasing over 65 single-family homes with his business partner.
Steven’s remarkable ascent in the real estate industry continued with executive positions where he managed an $820 million leasing portfolio of more than 4,900 single-family homes and later served as Director of Brokerage Services. These leadership roles encompassed key responsibilities including operational performance, leasing oversight, and managing brokers across several midwestern states. Steven’s unique corporate background has provided him with unparalleled expertise in leasing operations and asset management, providing the solid foundation for his stellar success as a top real estate broker.
Steven transitioned from the world of corporate real estate to a traditional broker role in 2017 in order to assist and guide his clients directly, whether they are first-time buyers, sellers, renters or savvy investors. Since then, he has continued to raise the bar, setting new standards in the industry. He holds the distinction of being the only known agent to lease over 1,000 listings in a year and sell over 1,000 listings annually, which he has done multiple times including 2023 and 2024. In addition, he is honored to have been ranked as the #3 individual agent in America, based on closed transactions as ranked by RealTrends and published in the Wall Street Journal.
