About Scott
Scott (he, him, his) fell in love with Chicago over 30 years ago when he came here to study at Northwestern University. As a Dream Town Agent, Scott strives to instill the joy and thrill that he experienced when buying his first condo to every new client. "I remember every moment of the process...searching, finding, loving, closing...it is such a huge decision." Scott wants all of his clients to feel that same excitement as they find the home of their dreams or sell a home that is filled with memories.
Scott has been an extremely successful Theatre Director and teacher for over 20 years. The skills used to direct a show are also related to Real Estate. His creativity, empathy and ability to listen to his client's wants and needs as if they were his own will always lead to, 'And they lived happily ever after.'
The bow-tie Scott wears is not only charmingly unique, it is a perfect metaphor for his work ethic. Let him take the loose ends and tie them into a neat and tidy bow for you. He will even show you how to tie one yourself if you want to be charmingly unique, too.
On a side note, Scott is the original creator of the hit show "Schoolhouse Rock Live!" and adores doggies and traveling with his husband, Chris whenever time allows.

Rebecca Rugg We didn't really anticipate looking for a home at the time we wound up looking for a home, but Scott helped make a stressful situation much easier. He took the time to understand what we wantedâ??which is important because I am extremely picky and very opinionated. I wouldn't have had much patience for a realtor who didn't seem to be able to focus on the things that actually mattered to me, but that was never a concern with Scott because he really listened to us. He helped answer questions and made suggestions that were very useful for us during the overall process. He was willing to provide commentary based on his experience while always giving us the opportunity and room to make our own decisions. From every step of the home-buying process, Scott made sure we had what we needed. He's very responsive and accommodating, which I appreciated because I work long hours and having to squeeze things in during normal 9-5 can be difficult and frustrating. With Scott's help, we found a home we liked, arranged financing, got an offer accepted, and closed. Now we're living in a place that's truly our own, and finally having a bedroom -with a door- after 15 years of renting a studio apartment is a positive feeling I'll be basking in for at least a few more monthsâ??if not 15 more years!

Sheana T. Scott was a Dream to work with. He is so knowledgeable and breaks down all the information you need in a way that is clear and understandable. As first time homebuyers, my husband and I were very grateful for that. Scott is a great listener and was able to balance giving us advice while also respecting our needs and wishes. He was a great advocate for us throughout the whole process- we really felt he had our backs and our best interest in mind.. Scott is so well connected in the city. He had reliable referrals for mortgage companies, lawyers, etc. Additionally, he was available anytime we needed him, for anything we needed- questions, to view a home, etc. He has a great sense of humor as well, which made the whole process so much fun!
