Gonzalo Del Rio
About Gonzalo
Gonzalo Del Rio is an experienced real estate professional focused on helping his clients to achieve their goals. After earning his degree in Business Administration from DePaul University , Gonzalo worked in senior positions in brand management, operations and sales; it was a rewarding career path that honed his arsenal of skills and capabilities, from marketing and design to accounting and administration. A sharp negotiator and an engaging communicator, he views himself as a real estate advocate first, and a sales person second. Although he takes great pride and satisfaction in getting his clients to closing, he has the integrity and confidence to make referrals if he is unable to assist them.
Since earning his broker’s license in 2020, Gonzalo has established a solid track record of success. Always willing to go above-and-beyond on his client’s behalf, he has been a top producer in the competitive, fast-paced West Loop real estate market. But beyond the numbers, Gonzalo’s priority is building strong bonds with his clients, relationships based on trust and shared success. He is both proud and humbled when friends and family turn to him for their real estate needs, and the greatest compliment is being told by clients that they think of him as a member of their family.
Since his own family’s arrival in Chicago more than 35 years ago, Gonzalo has lived on both the South and North sides of the city, as well as in the Western Suburbs. Now living in Bronzeville, his knowledge about the entire Chicagoland region is unmatched—and he is always willing to share his personal insights, especially with first time buyers who may be unsure of where to start their search for the perfect home. Spanish-speaking clients will be happy to know that Gonzalo is bilingual and able to assist them in either language.
A soccer enthusiast with a strong commitment to giving back, Gonzalo also devotes his time and energy to a variety of organizations. He is an active member and past-president of the Manchester United Fans of Chicago (MUFChicago) and an enthusiastic participant in Chicago TOPSoccer, a pioneering program that teaches the sport to young players with intellectual or physical disabilities. When he is not volunteering or assisting clients, Gonzalo is happy to enjoy all that Chicago has to offer. With the lakefront and parks as a huge bonus, he counts the city’s cultural diversity and wealth of dining opportunities among his favorite things about living here.
