Bonnie Trainor came to the real estate profession with a passion for helping others and a wealth of experience developed over a career dedicated to guiding individuals and families through life’s most significant transitions. With a Master’s degree in Social Work and years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Bonnie has spent her entire professional life listening deeply, solving problems, and helping people achieve their goals—all skills that greatly benefit her real estate clients.

Bonnie’s background includes serving as a counselor in an adoption agency, where she supported expecting parents through some of the most challenging decisions of their lives. She also served as the Program Director for a nonprofit organization that helped families in crisis across Chicagoland, connecting them with vital resources and stable housing. Later, she opened her own private counseling practice. After many years of service to the community, Bonnie brought her skills to thereal estate profession – a long-time dream. She brings a compassionate, client-focused perspective to everything she does and finds great fulfillment in helping her clients find their “happily ever after.”

What sets Bonnie apart is her natural ability to connect with people and her commitment to truly understanding their unique needs. Bonnie prides herself in helping buyers find the perfect community to match their needs. Bonnie’s knowledge of the city and surrounding suburbs is extensive. She has lived in Evanston, Chicago’s North Center neighborhood, Naperville, Park Ridge, Edison Park and now resides in Libertyville. Her collaborative mindset extends to building strong relationships with other agents and real estate professionals—a key advantage in today’s competitive market. Clients also benefit from her genuine flair for interior design, which helps sellers stage their homes for maximum appeal and inspires buyers to envision the full potential of a space.

Outside of work, Bonnie is a proud mom of four, an avid traveler with experiences spanning the globe, and a dedicated volunteer in her community. Bonnie brings a compassionate, client-focused perspective to everything she does.
