In April 2007, we purchased our Old Town condo through Jill Hare. We met Jill almost inadvertently -- the agent we were working with was not overly responsive, so we were looking for properties online on our own. On a Sunday night at 10:30 p.m., Jill was the agent who responded immediately to our online inquiry as to whether a certain property (the one we ultimately purchased), had outdoor space. She not only arranged for us to see the property THE NEXT MORNING, but we were able to see other properties on the same street at the same time that she recommended. Her recommendations were precisely on point. When we decided to purchase, her negotiation skills were impeccable. She handled negotiation, financing details with our lender as well as the builder selections and remaining finishes with precision and insight. From the moment I started looking for a new place in Chicago, Michelle (who is also my sister) was very involved and helpful -- and I had to begin my search via computer in another city since I was relocating to Chicago. By the time I came into Chicago for ONE DAY ONLY to look at properties, we had narrowed my search to include a list of only 10 or so according to my criteria (proximity to my office, uniqueness and historical significance of property, architectural beauty, neighborhood, best investment, etc.). She assisted me immensely with choosing the property I bought (there is no way I could have purchased a property without the assistance of her block-by-block knowledge of the many niches of Chicago's vast communities and buildings), with making my offer, negotiating my deal, securing my mortgage, the inspection, the appraisal, attorney review -- everything. I couldn't be happier with my new place . . . and I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with the knowledge and service Michelle brings to the table as a real estate agent.

I am a manager in a customer driven field, banking. In my field I often encounter customers who have been disregarded, overlooked and under-serviced by employees. My recent experience with realtor Nykea Pippion-McGriff was just the opposite. At the end of January I contacted Nykea to advise her that I was looking to buy my first condo. I had spoken with Nykea last year and she was very nice and even took me to a few showings but due to a financial hardship, I was unable to close. I never forgot Nykea's kindness when I was going through my rough period. Because of that kindness, Nykea was the first person I called when I decided the time was right to try again. Nykea once again was patient. She gave me all the information that I needed to be able to make a knowledgeable decision. She walked me through the entire process. I felt guilty a few times for calling her so much but she never hesitated to answer all my questions albeit redundant most times. On issues that I didn't have a clue, Nykea made suggestions and she also suggested people to assist me. She always gave me at least three names and numbers so once again I could make an informed decision. My deal wasn't easy. I had three different close dates because the bank couldn't get it together and the seller had a few issues as well. Nevertheless, Nykea advised me to be patient and she promised me that the deal would go through. I valued her opinion and often consulted her before I made final decisions on things. Nykea was always professional. Needless to say I am now a condo owner! Thanks to Nykea I got EVERYTHING on my wish list. Not only have I recommended her to all my family and friends, but I also wanted to take the time out and let her employer know what an asset you have in her. I really appreciate the hard work and many hours of time that Nykea put in to make my condo buying experience easy.

Recently, my wife Madeline and I decided to become "in towners" and purchase a condo in the loop area. As we looked on line at the Dream Town web site, we clicked the question box, entered a question we had and off it went to someone named Violet Jaworska. Little did we know that one click would not only bring us an answer to our questions but also a special person that would touch our lives forever.
Violet turned out to be everything we could ever ask of a realtor. She was the complete professional. She took time to understand our needs and went out of her way to make our buying experience exciting and fun. She didn't even get upset (at least not visibly) when I neglected to tell her how significant a view of the lake was to my wife on our first round of appointments! She interceded on our behalf through the entire process making sure all our questions were answered and issues resolved. We actually looked forward to our opportunities to go out with Violet on the appointments she arranged for us. And, just as we expected, in a short time, Violet found exactly what we were looking for and helped us get it a price we felt good about.
And her support didn't stop there. When we ran into a problem with my mortgage company, it was Violet who came to the rescue. When we decided to have some painting done, there was Violet again using her networking skills in the office to bring us a list of companies we could feel comfortable to choose from. We couldn't be more pleased with our enhanced experience which was made memorable by Violet.
Our association with Dream Town brought us more than a condominium. It brought us a friendship that we hope to share in for a long time to come.
