Zora and I recently worked with Jennifer South in selling Zora's condo and purchasing a new one about four blocks away in the Gold Coast area.
Zora's an attorney and a tough customer to satisfy in general. Both of us were very impressed with Jennifer's ability to quickly establish her credibility and competence. She did her homework and was well informed of current market conditions in both the selling and purchasing neighborhoods. She maximized the selling price and negotiated special items to extend the closing date, allowing us to move into our new place and avoid the cost and hassle of temporary housing.
Working with us on finding the new unit was equally challenging. Jennifer is an attentive listener which significantly improved the efficiency of the listing review process. In early 2007 I put my condo up for sale in the Lakeview area of Chicago. I used Mark Miles and Bonnie Kirincic-Reyburn as my realtors. My experience with them and with Dreamtown was a success. My condo was under contract in 16 days and the closing happened about 2 months after the initial listing. I felt comfortable dealing with Mark as he really listened to me with regard to how I wanted to price the condo. He added his expert opinions and together we came up with a price that worked. Additionally, Mark and Bonnie went above and beyond to make this real estate transaction smooth and easy for me. For example, the new buyer asked to have the floors sanded before closing. Mark and Bonnie not only had a "floor guy" to recommend, but they also contacted him for me, priced it out and also opened my condo for him to do the work. I did not have to be involved at all and the job was done within days. Also, any correspondence that was needed, they came to my office to pick up and drop off. I work long hours and do not have a lot of extra time during the day for these types of things. With Mark and Bonnie at the helm, I felt well taken care of, and they were ready to solve any issue or snag as soon as it came up. Finally, the communication level with Mark and Bonnie was great. Bonnie was in contact with me multiple times during the negotiations phase and made me feel well informed and reassured. I would recommend Mark and Bonnie, as they exceeded my expectations with their level of service.

As out of town buyers we really appreciated the time you took to familiarize us with the city. After the time we spent together at the beginning of this process we felt like we had a good understanding of the different neighborhoods. It is hard to put a value on just how important the time you took with us at the beginning was but we felt that you went above and beyond.
In the past we have been inundated with homes to view by our realtors. It was therefore a very refreshing change to be provided exclusively with properties that met our requirements. With young children the prospect of traveling around a city all day looking at properties is not all that appealing. In every other real estate transaction that I have been through once the money was in the bank the realtor was gone. I could only tell you the name of one other realtor that we have ever used and that is because she ultimately ended up becoming a family friend. None the less, when I told her about everything you had done for us during our process she did not hesitate to tell us how lucky we were and that, in her opinion, you had gone way above anything that could reasonably have been expected by even the most demanding buyer.
We love our new home and I can assure you that, when it is time to move on, we will not even consider using anyone but you.

I want to pass along high regards to Dream Town Realty and my realtor Beverly Bahm. I was a first time homebuyer and consequently found the home buying process overwhelming at times. I stumbled across Dream Town on Google and was pleasantly surprised how user friendly their website was and the vast listings they had, or at least in the South Loop where I was looking. More specifically, one of my favorite features to Dream Town's website (once your logged in) is the View My Favorites link which saves all your favorite listings in one easy to find link on their site. Not rocket science but really helps streamline your search process.
After filling up my favorite list I blindly walked into Dream Town's office and luckily stumbled into Beverly Bahm. Beverly and I worked closely together for 6+ months and I can vouch for her professionalism, real estate knowledge, patience and her ability to successful broker a deal. All those positive attributes were clearly displayed when I/we went to contract in a dicey situation (my call) where the condo building was in the middle of a $4 million lawsuit with its developer. I loved the unit and with Beverly's help we negotiated an equitable deal to help offset the future special assessment. In the end, I realized this was a headache I didn't need and Beverly quickly and smoothly got us out of the contract. Thank God!!!
That experience really took the wind out of my sail but Beverly stuck with me and after hitting the pavement, more showings, I found my dream condo. I've been in my new condo for four months now and couldn't be any happier. 100% customer satisfaction.
