Chicago's many unique neighborhoods form a quilt of cultural diversity, residential variety and boundless community energy. Use the interactive map below to learn more about the individual neighborhoods that make Chicago an incomparable place to live!
To simplify the neighborhood search, we break the city into five zones: North West, North/Central, Near South, South West and South East (seen below).
Select the zone you would like to explore and a partial map with that section of the city will pop up. Click on any of the neighborhoods to go to its Neighborhood Page where you can read about the area, use the Chicago Explorer to locate what's on every block, and access links to additional neighborhood info and organizations.
