Once upon a time, a little girl, who is now a young woman, wanted to live in the Windy City. She didn't have much for a down payment, so her parent's decided to surprise her with a monetary gift. But before her parent's told her the news of the gift, her mother searched the internet for a Realtor. Not being too computer savvy, the Mother entered very specific information on the type of property, location and other criteria that she wanted to research before telling her daughter of the surprise. She received a quick response from Dream Town Realtor, Dee Savic. Dee, immediately jumped into action and before the week was up, my daughter learned of her surprise and sighed a contract in the exact location she wanted to live. She was so happy and excited. It was perfect! This was a short sale. We knew it would take time, however, Dee, kept us informed almost everyday. She referred an attorney that was fantastic! She stayed on top of the deal from beginning to end. Every email question was answered and every phone call was returned. Dee, always spoke with a smile in her voice and always projected a professional personality. She is truly the Realtor that was meant to work with us. I don't think the deal would have closed without Dee's expertise. Short sales are demanding when it comes to forms and required information. Although, the transaction took longer than expected due to the sellers circumstances, the closing went off without a hitch! Cyberspace placed us together for a reason. If anyone is looking for an exceptional Realtor, have them call Dee Savic, if she doesn't answer, trust me, she'll call you back ASAP! Dreams really do come true! Thanks Dee, you're the Best. P.S. Buying a first home, we feel like we lucked out having Dee as our agent. We really didn't know what to expect when looking for a first home and Dee was always gracious, patient and had great communication whenever we had a question. Many times, Dee would even be willing to meet us in person even without much notice on our end. When we were caught with a few surprises during the buying process, she always assured us that everything would work out and her reassurance helped us tremendously. We always felt that Dee had our best interests in mind and it made everything that much easier for us. Barbara and I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed working with you. As you know, much to our surprise, we sold our home in two and a half weeks. We had not even started look for a place to live, yet. So Barbara frantically started making calls to realtors to get started. You responded the quickest, and set up 6 appointments for the very next day (Sunday). Our plan was to switch over to another realtor that a friend recommended to us on Saturday night, but you came so well prepared and we loved the way you handled each situation, that we decided to stay with you. That turned out to be a great decision on our part. With very limited time to find a place, you had shown us thirty four different properties over of a span five meetings. You also knew that we would have to rent if we couldn't find anything quick enough. But that didn't bother you at all. You had so much patience, and gave us such great advice. If you're looking for an amazingly bright, thorough, ingenious, well-organized, extremely informed realtor, look no further because Dee Savic is your lady! Ok, so maybe you're not convinced yet, but by the end of my testimonial, I hope you will be! A little background on me: single, no kids, moved to Chicago from LA in 2006, have a home in LA and bought my first home in Chicago with Dee's assistance, but boy was it a BUMPY ride... not through any fault of Dee's; if it weren't for her, I don't think I would have made it.In Jan. 2009 I put in my offer on my dream home. In February I got my wallet stolen and a day later was laid off from my job. A month later I got a new job and in the interim the house went back on the market but someone else's offer was accepted. I refused to give up on my dream home and prayed and prayed it would come back to me. A week later, Dee called and said, "Lucy, you're the luckiest lady I know, the house is back on the market!" We immediately put in a new offer. I was one of five offers and mine won! But the roller coaster hadn't started moving yet. The same day we went to do the inspection on the property, I fell victim to serious identity theft! Meanwhile, I was having issues with the loan on my first home back in LA. So, I started defaulting on the home in LA while trying to close on the new home in Chicago! I was very honest with Dee from the get go and was shocked that she never left my side and never gave up on me or my home, despite the numerous obstacles we incurred! It was a 6 week battle and I was told the deal should be canceled FOUR TIMES, but I never gave up and neither did Dee! In the end I was ready to give up all of my savings in order to close the deal but she fought tooth and nail to save the deal AND to make sure not one extra penny came out of my savings above the amount that was initially agreed on! If not for Dee's faith in me, her ability to think quick on her feet, her constant desire to help me find a way to obtain my dream home (all the while knowing that if I didn't close on this home, by the following month my perfect credit would be tarnished and I wouldn't be able to get approved on a new home) and her constant follow ups with everyone from the attorney to the selling agent to the asset manager... well, I would not have been able to close on my new home in Chicago and I wouldn't have made such an amazing new friend! She's not just a realtor! She will care for you, your family, and your personal situation and will go above and beyond the call of duty at all hours of the day to make sure you get the home you want!
